I LOVE this idea, brought to me by a very sweet friend (thank you, Abby!) to use a plastic shower cap as a reusable cover for your food bowls rather than plastic wrap which is typical tossed after one use.   Pretty much none of my larger food bowls (picture large salad/chips bowls, mixing bowls, etc) do not have a sealable fitting lid, so of course the go-to is plastic wrap or aluminum foil while storing or transporting food in them.  Rather than create more waste, use a shower cap over and over and over as your lid :).
