Having a dad/step dad/primary-male-figure fully engaged in a child’s life is invaluable.  Men bring a different perspective to kid’s lives …not just that ice cream is okay for dinner perspective (and don’t pretend like we don’t know all know that, ha)…, but in all facets – emotional, mental and physical.  Give props to the special dads you know, today, they are helping to shape our future.
